Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the tem. mobile app and the tem.gallery website (together, the “Service”) provided by beside Co. (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 14 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

2. The Service

• Record, shelve and recap your things — all records are stored on your device, with no account or login.
• tem. Pro (paid subscription) adds AI features (auto-fill, monthly catalogue, watch briefs), unlimited items, frame and recap customization, and future premium features.
• Web gallery handle reservation — the web gallery itself will launch later and will be announced separately.

Because your records live only on your device, we cannot back them up or recover them. Use the in-app export (CSV/JSON) before switching devices or deleting the app.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• tem. Pro is an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription billed through your Apple App Store account. It renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancel anytime in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. You keep Pro benefits until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies (reportaproblem.apple.com), plus any rights you have under local consumer law.
• Prices and features may change with prior notice; changes never affect a period you have already paid for.

4. Your content

You own your records. They are stored on your device, and we do not access them except as described in the Privacy Policy (e.g., transient processing when you use AI features). You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe others’ rights.

5. Acceptable use

• No interfering with the Service (reverse engineering, scraping, exploiting vulnerabilities)
• No unlawful or infringing content
• No abusive handle reservations (impersonation, trademark squatting, bulk reservation) — we may reclaim handles reserved in bad faith
• No payment fraud

6. Changes to the Service

We may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, with prior notice for material changes. If a paid service is discontinued, we will take required measures (such as refunds for unused periods) under applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

The Service itself — its design, software and trademarks — belongs to beside Co. We grant you a personal, non-commercial license to use the Service.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by events beyond our reasonable control, for loss of records you did not back up, or for indirect or consequential damages. AI suggestions are for reference only and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and will announce changes at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for material or unfavorable changes). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts under applicable procedural law.
