beside Co. (“we”, “us”) provides the tem. mobile app (the “Service”). tem. is a local-first app: there are no accounts or logins, and all of your collection records — photos, names, prices, stories — stay on your device and are not sent to our servers. This policy explains the limited data we do process.
1. Data we process and why

2. International transfers
We rely on service providers that operate outside your country, so the data above is transferred internationally — primarily to the United States:
- Supabase, Inc. (US) — hosting for handle reservations, relay of AI requests and product-link parsing
- Anthropic, PBC (US) — AI suggestion generation; inputs are discarded after processing and are not used to train models
- PostHog, Inc. (US) — pseudonymous product analytics
- RevenueCat, Inc. (US) — subscription status management
- Apple Inc.(US) — in-app payment processing under Apple’s own terms
We put contractual data-protection commitments in place with these providers. If you prefer not to have data transferred, you can simply not use the optional features involved (AI features, handle reservation, subscription) — the core on-device features keep working.
3. Retention
- AI inputs: discarded immediately after the suggestion is generated
- Handle, device hash, email: kept while your reservation stands, deleted on request
- Usage events: up to 24 months from collection
- Subscription validation data: for as long as needed to manage your subscription
- Support correspondence: up to 3 years after resolution
4. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact support@tem.gallery and we will act without undue delay. Records on your device are under your direct control — export (CSV/JSON) or delete them in the app at any time. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (as defined by the CCPA).
5. Security
Data in transit is encrypted (TLS) and our providers encrypt data at rest. We collect the minimum necessary by design (local-first) and use pseudonymous identifiers for analytics and subscriptions.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 14 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
7. Cookies
The app uses no advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking. The website (tem.gallery) uses only essential cookies for language and theme preferences — no advertising or profiling cookies.
8. Changes
We will announce changes to this policy on our website at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for material changes).
